Portugal

Well have arrived in Portugal safe and sound.  We hurried out to the airport thinking it was going  to take awhile to get there but ended up waiting out there for awhile.  We did a little shopping and waited it out.  Then it was time to go through that checking process that I have so much trouble with! Well it was a lot more trouble than I usually have.  I thought that I had put all the stuff that would set it off in the trays but no!!! Beep, beep it goes and I am asked to take my shoes of than I can only say that every part of my body was THROUGHLY searched.  I was starting to think I was going to be stuck there for ever.  Anyway after having all this time to spare we had to make a dash to the gate.  EasyJet are  just like the tv show! As one of the British Airways guy said "you are the riff raff go to gate 107"! 

I dozed most of the flight here, so the flight went pretty quick.  When we landed we tried to organise a transfer through our hotel but no luck so got stuck with the taxi driver that wanted to detour us all through the back streets before delivering us to our hotel but we arrived safe and sound all set for another day tomorrow. Have decided to stay here for another night to let us get some bearings. Hopefully have some photos tomorrow :)
