After that we headed on a cruise down the Thames. Didn't expect it to take as long as it did but never mind, it gave us time to catch our breath. We caught the tube back out to feed ourselves and get changed for a night at the theatre. Finally I got to see the Phantom of the Opera. Was worth the wait, what an amazing show. The sets, costumes and music was amazing, even with a pole in the way I still had goosebumps!
We walked back through Piccadilly Circus (amazing place) and headed back underground home. The underground was packed with people but we squeezed on. I didn't think I was going to get off as I was jamed down the row but my new found confidence on the tube allowed me to squeeze my way out and we made it home with only one scare when Kate found a sports bag dumped by the exit of the underground. I can assure you we moved pretty quickly to get away from it. You feel quiet nervous sometimes. There are way more police around than the first couple of days here. Anyway it is after 11:00 here (latest night so far) so photos will have to wait for tomorrow morning.
